Terms of Service

By accessing or using the She-EO Spotlight platform (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, members, contributors, and businesses listed on the Platform.

She-EO Spotlight is a digital media and community platform that publishes podcast episodes, interviews, and articles spotlighting women founders and leaders, and offers paid membership tiers, a community forum, and a business directory.

Some features require a registered account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Paid memberships are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor until you cancel. Prices and plan features are shown on the Membership page at the time of purchase.

You may cancel your membership at any time; cancellation stops future renewals, and access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds, where applicable, are handled at our discretion.

We reserve the right to change pricing and plan features, with reasonable notice for existing billing cycles.

By submitting content to the Platform — including guest applications, nominations, community posts, business listings, reviews, articles, or contact inquiries — you confirm you have the right to submit it and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating and promoting it.

All submissions go through content moderation. We may decline, hide, edit, or remove any submission at our discretion, including content that is spam, abusive, misleading, unlawful, or otherwise violates these Terms.

You retain ownership of your content; nothing in these Terms transfers your ownership to us beyond the license above.

When using the Platform, you agree not to: post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or hateful; impersonate others; scrape or harvest data; interfere with the Platform's operation; infringe intellectual property rights; or use the Platform for unsolicited commercial messaging.

Businesses listed in the directory are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings, and reviews must reflect genuine experiences.

The Platform's content — including podcast episodes, articles, branding, and design — is owned by She-EO Spotlight or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute Platform content without permission, beyond fair personal use or sharing through provided sharing features.

The Platform contains links to third-party websites and services (such as directory businesses, guests' social profiles, and embedded media). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or services.

Businesses listed in the directory and guests featured on the podcast or Platform are independent third parties. The Platform is provided solely as a promotional venue for businesses to showcase their services and for guests to share their stories.

Each listed business and each guest operates as a separate and independent entity. A directory listing, interview appearance, or any other feature on the Platform does not create any partnership, agency, joint venture, employment, endorsement, or legal binding or affiliation with She-EO Spotlight or the Black Wealth Circle.

We do not guarantee, endorse, or take responsibility for the products, services, quality, conduct, representations, or content of any listed business or guest. Any dealings you have with a listed business or guest are solely between you and that third party, and you release us from any claims arising from those dealings.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, or your use of either shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation by contacting us through the Contact page.

If the dispute is not resolved informally within thirty (30) days, it shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by a neutral arbitration service seated in the United States, rather than in court, except that either party may bring a claim in small claims court where permitted by law.

You and we agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only — class action and representative proceedings are waived to the fullest extent permitted by law. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Content on the Platform — including interviews, articles, and community posts — is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, financial, legal, or medical advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, She-EO Spotlight and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, and our aggregate liability for claims related to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform for conduct that violates these Terms. You may stop using the Platform at any time, and may request account deletion through the Contact page.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
